R Place does have that unique sense of community found in dive bars - the clientele ranges from the young and hip to the old timers, but everyone gets along somehow. There's pool and darts to settle scores and there's also a nice jukebox.

Really an extreme dive bar, but also homey and intimate. You can smoke in there, hang out with the regulars at the bar, play some cheap pool, throw plastic darts, or play the video games.
